Obituary of Cleo Tetteris

On September 26th our beloved and faithful mom, wife, sister and avid member of her community lost her battle with Parkinson's disease.

In 1971 Cleo, her husband Demos, their daughter Julia and Eleni and Taki Simou arrived in America as Greek immigrants. She built her life surrounded by her church; where she was the custodian for over 40 years. She raised her family in the city of Poughkeepsie where she was an active member of her community and loved by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Demos Tetteris, her two loving daughters :Julia Takos and Joanne Tetteris, her two loving son-in-laws: George Takos and Rego Rodriguez, her beloved grandchildren: Aphrodite Takos, Ioannis Takos, and Demos Takos. Along with her loving nieces, nephews,sister-in-laws and friends.

Calling hours will take place at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Aveneue Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 on Friday September 29, 2017 between 5pm-9pm. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday the September 30, 2017 at 10 am at Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church Poughkeepsie, NY.
