Obituary of Marion Lopane

On October 25, 2017, surrounded by her family, Marion Lopane, passed into the loving arms of the Lord.  Marion was born on June 18, 1933 in Brooklyn New York and traveled to Palermo, Sicily with her family as an infant, where she resided for the next eleven years.  Marion returned to the United States after World War II, and settled in Brooklyn.  She met the love of her life, Francesco Lopane while working in the garment district in NYC.  Marion and Frank were married on January 31, 1959 and began their lives in the Bronx, New York.  Together, they raised four daughters (their winning hand) Josephine Ann (Lamont LaRobardier), Isabell (Thomas Ingoglia), Antoinette Lopane and Angela Lopane (Frank Haverkamp)
Above all Marion cherished her family.  God blessed her with ten grandchildren. With each grandchild born, she praised the Lord and relished each and every moment with her babies.  She loved spending time in any garden. Marion was the proud owner of Lopane Florist and Garden Center, in Dover Plains, New York, which she owed and operated with her husband and daughters for many years. Marion was an amazing cook and baker, passing recipes down to her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed needlepoint and crochet, making many an afghan for family to enjoy.
Marion is predeceased by her loving husband Frank, son Nicholas and grandaughter Ariel Ingoglia.
