Obituary of Frank P. Cefarelli Jr.

Frank P. Cefarelli, Jr., 82, of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.  A lifelong member of Poughkeepsie, Frank was born on April 17, 1935 to the late Frank P. and the late Rose Zarella Cefarelli, Sr.  He attended Poughkeepsie High School, was in the first graduating class of Dutchess Community College and attended Marist College.  Frank served in the United States Air Force.  On September 30, 1962, he married Barbara M. Clements in New Paltz, NY and she survives him at home.  Frank had worked for IBM as a Design Senior Engineer in Poughkeepsie for 38 years, retiring in 1991.  He loved the Yankees and was a sports fanatic.  In addition to his wife Barbara, Frank is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Scot Davis of Poughkeepsie and his daughter Debra Cefarelli of Poughkeepsie.  Also surviving are his grandchildren; Jessica Beers, Kelsey Beers and Cody Davis, as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are his brother-in-laws John Clements and George Bruzgul. Frank was predeceased by two brothers Edward and Daniel Cefarelli and his sister Marie Bagley.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Timothy P.
