Obituary of Jack Shortle

Jack died at home surrounded by his family on August 3, 2005. He was a senior engineer at IBM Poughkeepsie retiring in 1985. Born November 3, 1922 in Kansas the son of James and Lyde Shortle. On September 1, 1947 in Norwich Kansas he married Eleanor Wright who survives at home. He is survived by four daughters Molly, Margaret, Susan and Janet. Two sons John and Mark. 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 45 Reade Place Poughkeepsie New York. Burial was at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
