Obituary of Anna E. Cumbo

Anna E. Cumbo 87 of the Town of Lagrange died at home June 1, 2018.

Born in Poughkeepsie, New York on December 5, 1930 she was the daughter of the late John and the late Elizabeth M. Hart DuPilka.

Anna was a local resident all of her life and educated locally. She was retired from the CIA where she worked in the Alumni Office and previous to that she was a Bookkeeper for many years.

In February of 1955 she married Howard O. Terbush he predeceased her in 1982. in 1988 Anna was remarried to Joseph Cumbo he also predeceased her.

Anna was a Member of the Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for the Community Out Reach at Second Hand Rose. Anna had a God giving singing voice. From age 8 to age 84 Anna sang and she was a member of the Church Choir.

Anna is survived by her daughter Gail A. Pepperman and her husband Howard of Poughkeepsie, her son Gregg O. Terbush of Lagrange, grandchildren Mark Boss and Matthew Boss of New Paltz and great grandsons Matthew Boss II and Joshua Boss. Anna is also survived by her sister Joan June of Livingston, NY.

Anna was predeceased by her brother Richard Ryan.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday June 6, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. A Memorial Service will be held during calling hours at 6:30pm. Burial will be taking place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery at a later date.
