Obituary of Raymond J. Deyo

Raymond J. Deyo, 83, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at home.  Ray had been a local resident since 1969 and previously of Malone, NY.  Born on August 8, 1934 in Moores Fork, NY, he was the son of the late John and Orfa Deyo.  Ray married Ruth A. Guyette on October 21, 1961 at St. Mary's Church in Brushton, NY and she survives him at home.  Ray had worked as a salesman for both Montgomery Ward's and Burlington Coat Factory.  In addition to his wife Ruth, Ray is survived by his daughter Paula A. Sculco and her husband John of Poughkeepsie, his grandchildren Shannon Mahmoud and her husband Tamer and Ryan Wolven both of Poughkeepsie, his great-grandchildren Lila, Na'Laeyah and Izaeiyah.  Also surviving is his brother Ernest Deyo, his sister Jean Lamica, brother in-law George Guyette and his dog Daisy. In addition to his parents, Ray was also predeceased by his sister Marjorie King.  Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at the Timothy P.
