Obituary of Myra A. Dyer

Myra A. Dyer, 66 of Poughkeepsie, NY died on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Myra was born on March 22, 1952 in New Paltz, NY. Her partner Felix A. Tavarez, Jr. survives at home.

A homemaker and local resident all her life, Myra was a member of Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, loved birds and her fish aquarium.

Myra is survived by her son Felix A. Tavarez, III of Poughkeepsie, NY, daughter Amanda (Anthony Strowden) Tavarez of Virginia Beach, Va , grandchild Giovanni Barrington and several nieces and nephews.  Myra was also predeceased by her sisters Eileen Cromwell and Margaret McDonell.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
