Obituary of Timothy James Sullivan

Timothy James Sullivan, a lifelong resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie, passed away on September 22, 2018 at home after a long battle with cancer, with his family at his side.
  Tim was a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School.  He attended Pratt University in Brooklyn, NY, receiving his degree in Industrial Design.
  Born on January 14, 1986 at New York University Medical Center in Manhattan, he is survived by his parents, Brian and Suzanne Sullivan of the Town of Poughkeepsie, a sister, Sarah, of Kingston, NY, and his wife, Renee Sawyer, of Wethersfield, Connecticut.
  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Bella and Thomas Sullivan of Floral Park, NY; a grandfather, James M. Davis, of Richmond, Virginia; an uncle, Thomas Sullivan of California; an aunt, Margaret Contento of Oklahoma; and his friend and cousin, Justin Sullivan of San Jose, California.  He is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his maternal grandmother, Ann Davis of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania and his aunt, Catherine Feeney, of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.
  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
  A mass of the Christian burial will be held at St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church on Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY, on September 26, 2018 at 10am.
  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Walkway Over the Hudson, or Steamtown Historic Site and Museum, Scranton, Pennsylvania.
