Obituary of Elvira R. Ventimiglia

Elvira Rose Ventimiglia, age 87, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on December 30, 2018. Elvira was born on March 6, 1931 on the coast of Tunisia, North Africa. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Benoit, her son John-Marc Ventimiglia and his wife Eliane Wissocq of Colorado, her daughter Patricia Angelucci and her husband Joseph of New York, her pride and joys- her grandchildren, Christina, Denise and Jennifer, her great granddaughter, Skyler Rose, and a large loving extended family.

Elvira was an accomplished seamstress and worked at The Town Shop in Poughkeepsie where she remained an integral asset until 2017. Elvira was the strongest, most loving, generous woman who will be truly missed by all that knew her.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 7th at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home- 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 8th at St. Martin De Porres Church- 118 Cedar Valley Rd. Poughkeepsie, NY at 10am.
