Obituary of Kathleen Perrotta

Kathleen T. Perrotta, 77, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her home.  A lifelong resident, she was born on July 30, 1943 in Poughkeepsie to the late Herman and Marie Crocco Rowe.  Kathleen was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School.  On June 18, 1961 she married Frederick "Fred" A. Perrotta at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and he survives at home.  Kathleen had worked as a clerk for IBM in Poughkeepsie and at the Town of Poughkeepsie Recreation Department Senior Center as an activity director.  She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and she loved to craft and to teach others.  In addition to her husband, Fred, Kathleen is survived by her children; son Gregory Perrotta of Poughkeepsie and daughter Traci Gardner of Poughquag, NY.  Also surviving are her grandchildren; Ashley Hahn, Christopher Perrotta, Matthew Perrotta, Jess Perrotta, Paige Post and Brandon Gardner.  Also surviving are her great-grandchildren; Alexander Hahn and McKenna Perrotta, as well as her sister Marie Marquardt of Ohio.  There are no calling hours and burial will be private and at the convenience of the Family.  If desired, donations can be made in her name to the Town of Poughkeepsie Senior Center.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy P.
