Obituary of John W. Totten Jr.

John W. Totten Jr., 62, of Clintondale, NY passed away on April 22, 2021. He was born on June 17, 1958 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late John  "Jack" W. and the late Carolyn E. (Ball) Totten.

John was a life long resident of the area and a graduate of Arlington High School Class of 1976.

On September 15, 1990 at Holy Trinity Church, John married Denise Gunn. Denise predeceased john on January 9, 2016.

John was a Mason for Bricklayers Allied Union in Poughkeepsie and was a Instructor at IMI.

John was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie and St. Joseph's in New Paltz. John was a Past Commador of the Rogers Boat Club in Hyde Park. He loved to Garden, he enjoyed the outdoors and working around his yard and loved to hunt and fish.

John is survived by his sister Eileen Totten Clintondale, cousin Teresa Totten, cousin Patricia Totten, step-mother Josephine Totten,several nieces and nephews and many friends.
 

Friends may call on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
 

Funeral Service will be held April 30, 2021 at 7:30 PM from Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
