Obituary of Albert G Perkins

Albert G. Perkins Jr., 101, of Hopewell Junction, NY passed away peacefully at home on May 4, 2021.  Al was born on June 10, 1919 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Albert G. and Elizabeth (Lintel) Perkins.

Al was a local resident all of his life.   He graduated from RPI and Fordham University School of Law and was certified public account as well as a lawyer.  He practiced corporate law at General Foods Corporation and retired as Corporate Secretary and Assistant General Counsel in 1984.

Al was a past Councilman for the Town of East Fishkill and life member and past treasurer of the Whortelkill Rod and Gun. 

He loved fly fishing, bird hunting and horse racing especially at Saratoga where he would spend the month of August.

Survivors include his daughter Mary E. Perkins and her husband Rodney C. Royer of Salt Point, NY, son Albert G. Perkins III of Whaley Lake, NY, sister Dorothy P. Main of Norwalk CT and many nieces and nephews throughout the country.

Al was predeceased by his son, David L. Perkins, and his brother in-law George Main.

Funeral Services and Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
