Obituary of Florence V. Napolitano

Florence V. Napolitano, 92, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at The Pines of Poughkeepsie.  A local resident since 1998 and previously of Bayonne, NJ, where she was born on February 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Scotti Lombardi.   Florence had worked as a clothing inspector for Maiden Form in Bayonne, NJ.  She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Church and she enjoyed reading and word puzzles.  Florence married John Sadowski and he predeceased her.  She is survived by her daughter and husband Barbara and Robert Mages of Poughkeepsie and her grandchildren Jennifer Hunter (Michael) and Jonathan Mages.  In addition to her husband, Florence was predeceased by her brothers; Joseph and Vincent and sisters; Adeline, Frances, Marie and Josephine.  Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 9:45am at St. Martin de Porres Church.  Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery Jersey City, New Jersey.
