Obituary of RoseMarie Lahey

 RoseMarie E. Lahey, 89, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021surrounded by family at Vassar Brother Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. RoseMarie was born on June 3, 1932 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Louis Manna and Molly Milone. She married Francis "Buddy" D. Lahey on November 2, 1952 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie, NY and predeceased her on May 8, 2003. A local resident all her life, RoseMarie attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel  and graduated from Poughkeepsie High school. She was a member of St. Peter's Parish. RoseMarie loved to cook and was a devoted mother who loved her children and grandchildren. RoseMarie is survived by her sons, Shawn Lahey of Poughkeepsie, NY, Joel Lahey, of Roundtop, NY, Mark Lahey of VA, daughters, Marie Anne Lahey of Dover Plains, NY, Rachel Reiley of Tuscon, AZ, Kristen Lahey of Poughkeepsie, NY and sister Mary Theresa "Bunny" Mihans of Raleigh, NC. RoseMarie is predeceased by a son Brian Lahey in September, 1984, and Two granddaughters Brianna Rose and Macayla Gault. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:00am at the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel, 185 Hudson View Drive, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Burial is to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY.
