Obituary of Bernadette Fusaro
Bernadette Fusaro, 75, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on December 6, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was born on November 7, 1946 in Poughkeepsie, NY. to the late Stanley and the late Pauline Niedzwiecki Koziol.
Bernadette was a graduate of Dutchess Community College and Marist College.
On May 17, 1980 in Lagrange, NY Bernadette married Gene T. Fusaro who survives at home.
She was a Para Legal for Quartararo and Quartararo and also for Gelert and Klein Law Firm. Bernadette also was a Bookkeeper for Anstu Farms and worked at MACYS part time as a sales clerk.
Bernadette was a local resident all of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie. She loved to travel. Bernadette loved Disney and had gone there 11 times. She also loved the beach and traveled to Old Saybrook Ct Beaches and Wildwood NJ Beaches.
Survivors include husband Gene Fusaro of Lagrange New York, her daughter Danielle A. Fusaro of Lagrange New York, grandchildren Mitchell and Emmitt Lundgren of Lagrange New York, brother Robert Koziol of Pleasant Valley New York, Many Nieces and Nephews. Bernadette was predeceased by her brother Eugene Koziol.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Funeral Services will be at 2:30 PM after the visitation.
