Obituary of Martha J. Jolly

Martha Jean Jolly was born January 30, 1955, to Eugene and Virginia Borghard in Beacon, NY.

She graduated Beacon High School in 1968, then attended Albany College of Pharmacy.

She had a long career as a pharmacist at Plaza Pharmacy and went on to become a co-owner of East Park Pharmacy.  In her career as a pharmacist, Martha cared for her patients like family. She was always a kind, caring, and compassionate soul.

Martha passed away on December 9th, 2021. Martha served as an example of hard work and generosity to those who loved her, and she taught her daughter to plan ahead and find the good in every situation.

Martha is survived by her sisters Janis and Lesley, her brother Andrew, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who reside in New York. She is also survived by her husband, Bob, her daughter Erica, and her three grandchildren Aidan, Ashley, and Addison, who reside in Pennsylvania. 

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 11am to 12pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Funeral Services will follow at 12pm with Burial to follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery South Ave Poughkeepsie, New York.
