Obituary of John A. Irkliewskij

John A. Irkliewskij, 64 years of age, of Poughkeepsie, NY, has passed on the evening of December 14th after a long hard-fought battle with Cancer.

He was born in Poughkeepsie, on August 20th, 1957. John graduated
from Poughkeepsie Highschool and spent his life living and working in the
community grooming his amazing garden on Albany Street.

John worked his early life at Master Grinding later moving on to Global Foundries where he helped produce chips for many of the devices we rely on. Born the natural handyman he was always fixing things for his friends, family, and the elderly in the area. John was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to be in nature hunting, fishing and boating up and down the Hudson.

He is survived by 5 Brothers, Pete, Andrew, Nikolas, Fedor, and Tony, 2 Sisters, Rose and Marianna, and 7 nieces and nephews, Dorothy, Mikel, Tanya, Nikolas, Jayme, Andrew, and Eric. He is also survived by his chosen family, Frank and Scottie.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday December 17, 2021, from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.

Funeral Services will be held 10am Saturday December 18, 2021, in the Funeral Home, burial will follow at Union Cemetery Hyde Park, New York.
