Obituary of Janice E. Farinacci

Janice Farinacci, 74 of Pleasant Valley entered into the loving arms of Jesus on 2/1/22 at Vassar Hospital with her loving daughter Tracy at her side. On June 3, 1947, she was born to Charles Morgan and Ruth Wendover Morgan in New Paltz New York. On December 20, 2000, she married the love of her life Peter Farinacci at Reach Out Family Worship Center in Hyde Park New York. She is survived by her husband Peter Farinacci, her daughters Tracy Brill (Mitchell Marini), Patricia Daley (Rob Daley), and Lynne Evans (Donald Evans), her stepchildren Kelly Farinacci, Kimberly Marshall, Kolleen Farinacci (Pat Ferris), and Frank Farinacci (Kelle Farinacci), her grandchildren Jessica Callaghan, Brianna Brill, Morgan Anselmo, Anthony Daley, RJ Daley, Angela Evans, Maria Evans, and Donald Evans Jr. and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Terry VanTassel and her brother Virgil Morgan and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her baby son Jimmy, brothers Charles Morgan, Ralph Morgan, John Morgan, William Morgan, and Michael Morgan. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Brian Brill. She was a long-time resident of Pleasant Valley New York but was born on Mohonk Mountain in New Paltz. She was a member of Full Gospel Center in Lagrange. She was the operations manager at Dutchess County Loop until her retirement. She had a tremendous love for her family and was always willing to help anyone in need. Her favorite pastimes were playing cards with her family and watching the New York Yankees. She also had a love for old country music. She and her husband loved to travel and enjoyed going to the casinos. She was the happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She made an imprint on anyone who was lucky enough to come in contact with her. Janice will forever be loved and missed by her family. On June 28, 2018, she was given the gift of life from her living kidney donor Holly Farrell to who we will be forever grateful for the extra years we got to love her. The family would also like to give special thanks to Dr. Murthy who always went above and beyond to make sure she always had the highest level of care possible. Calling hours will be at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie New York on Tuesday, February 8 from 3-5, and 7-9 Services will be held 10am Wednesday, February 9 at Funeral Home with burial to follow at New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
