Obituary of James H. Sheehy

James H. Sheehy passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022. He was born to Ann Sheehy on October 14, 1947 in Troy, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Amy C. Sheehy who was the love of his life.  James is survived by his daughter Sarah E. Coppinger and his granddaughter Arabella Rose Coppinger who were his world and his "Earth Angels". He is also survived by his son-in-law David Coppinger, many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Jim was a Vietnam Combat Veteran as a Specialist 4th Class in the US Army. He was employed as a New York State Corrections Officer for 35 years at Downstate CF in Fishkill, NY.

His granddaughter Arabella Rose will always remember her Pop Pop for the love her had for her, his love of Goofy and always picking her up in the big truck.

"Don't be sad I'm gone, smile because I'm with Amy."

Special thanks to his amazing Hospice team Chris, Lacey and Jennie as well as his neighbor and good friend Scott who was always there to help even in his final days.
