Obituary of Deborah Lynch Cruz

Deborah Lynch Cruz, age 54, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away peacefully, in the presence of her loved ones, on April 19, 2022. She was born on July 21, 1967 in Yonkers, New York to the late Joseph lynch and the late Claudia Johnson.

Deborah was a proud local resident, and the most important part of her life was spending time with her children, and grandchildren. She was known by her family to have had the most infectious laugh, and always knew the way to make someone smile.

Deborah is survived by her husband Alejandro Cruz Garcia, and their beloved daughter, Isabela Cruz. She was predeceased by her son Jesus Lavariega. 

She was a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist for Childrens Medical Group Poughkeepsie, New York. She was loved and revered by many families and children who worked with her. 

Other survivors include her Grandchildren, Esmeé Lavariega, Alonzo Santos, Amber Woods, along side with her goddaughter Alexis Santos and her daughter in law Siobhan Clark. Her brothers Neil Lynch and his wife Roberta, Mike and John Palmaffy, and their wives Lisa, and Eileen. Her sisters, Maria Fonteneou and husband Rick Fonteneou, Elizabeth Roberts and husband Tyrone Roberts. Along with her best friend Susan McNair, and several nieces and nephews.

Deborah was predeceased by her brother Anthony Palmaffy.

Funeral Services will be held April 25, 2022 at 4:00PM to 7:30pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Burial will be private.
