Obituary of Winifred A. Selage

Winifred A. Selage, 91, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on July 3, 2022. She was born on August 25, 1930, in Winona, Minnesota to the late Theophil and the late Rose Negler.

Winifred was a local resident all of her life. She retired from Lucky Platt where she worked as a clerk.

Winifred married George Joseph Selage on April 22, 1948, in Poughkeepsie, George predeceased her on December 9, 1989

Winifred was a member of St. Mary's Church in Wappingers. She was a member of the St Mary's Alter Rosary Society and loved to work in her Garden.

Survivors include son and daughter in-law Richard and Martha Selage Poughkeepsie New York, son and daughter in-law James and Laurie Selage Eustis Florida, daughter and son inlaw Mary Lou and Michael Innello Salt Point New York, sister Doris Cassidy, grandchildren Jennifer Gauquie, Michelle Selage, Ann Yambrick, Christina Selage, Joseph Selage, Heather Wolensky, Kevin Wolensky, Kimberly Paroli, Amanda Paolilo, 11 great grandchilden, 1 great great grandchild.

Winifred was predeceased by her daughter Wendy Dangerfield and brother Joseph Negler.

Her Funeral Services will be held July 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

Interment will take place in St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lutheran Care and Hospice for how well they took care of Winifred.
