Obituary of Linda Schoonmaker

Linda M. Schoonmaker, 76 of Jacksonville, Florida died on Friday, December 30, 2022 in LaGrangeville, NY. Linda was born on October 3, 1946 in Jamaica Queens, New York to Harold and Ruth (Taylor) McCarthy. She grew up in Floral Park, NY and later moved to Ulster County NY. She raised her four children in Ulster and Dutchess counties NY and then moved south to enjoy the warmer weather. She spent time crafting with plastic canvas, sewing and crocheting, and enjoyed distributing the final projects to others including the residents in her apartment complex. Linda was predeceased by her parents Harold and Ruth, her son, William (Billy) Schoonmaker, and her brothers, Kenneth McCarthy, Rodney McCarthy, and Harold McCarthy. She is survived by her son Duane Schoonmaker of Hyde Park NY, Daughter Sandra Master of Jacksonville FL, and daughter Melissa Schoonmaker Hudak of LaGrangeville NY. Also by two sisters, Maureen Costello, Karen Palazzo and brother Robert (Buddy) McCarthy and eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
