Obituary of Linda E. Bugosh

Linda E. Bugosh passed away after a brief illness on May 5th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born July 15th, 1940 to Herbert and Anna Sherow in Sharon, CT, Linda graduated Millbrook High School, attended New Paltz College, and then settled and raised her family in Clinton Corners, NY. She was an active member of the community involved in 4H, Garden Club, Community Day, and many other local functions. An avid gardener, seamstress, and crafter, she was known for her many in-home holiday craft sales. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Town of Clinton for many years and then used her talents and passion as an award-winning floral designer for Parisella’s Flower Shop in Poughkeepsie, NY. She returned to work as a bookkeeper for a few different non-profits, retiring in 2006 from Rehab Programs, Inc. in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Linda is survived by her three sisters, Joan Sherow, Carol DiBenedetto,  and Sue Puccillo (Bob), her daughters Andrea “Andi” Bertsche (George), Karen Gale (Greg), and Cheryl Quinby (Chris), her grandchildren Connor Gale (Bre), Kendall Wheeler (Dustin), Katherine Gale, Lauren Gilderdale, Elizabeth Quinby and Cole Quinby, three great-grandchildren and a fourth due in October. She was predeceased by her sister Virginia Armstrong (Stewart).

A Celebration Of Life will be held Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hudson Valley Hospice (https://www.hvhospice.org/donate-now/) in Linda’s memory.
