Obituary of Scott T. Chamberlain

Scott T. Chamberlain, 45, of Salt Point, NY died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. A local resident for 17 years, Scott was born on April 4, 1967 in Carmel, NY and was the son of the late William and Joan O'Keefe Chamberlain. He was a 1985 graduate of Carmel High School and was self-employed as a Land Surveyor based in Westchester County. On January 11, 1992 Scott married Sally Millo in West Point, NY and she survives at home. Scott loved his profession and was admired by his peers. He was an avid New York Giants Fan, loved to travel and loved hanging out with friends and family and throwing back a beer. He loved history and was a decedent of Joshua Chamberlain, who fought for the Union Army during the civil war. He was loved by all. In addition to his wife Sally, Scott is survived by his daughters Brenna and Lea at home, his sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Bill Jones of Carmel, NY, brother and sister-in-law Chip and Carol Lynne Chamberlain of Wingdale, NY, brother and sister-in-law Butch and Maria Chamberlain of the Philippines, his sister-in-law Irene Lantry of North Carolina, his father and mother-in-law Anthony S. and Virginia L. Millo of Hyde Park, NY and 4 nieces and three nephews. In addition to his parents who predeceased him, Scott was also predeceased by his step-father Joseph Byrne. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. The Funeral Service will be held at 8:00pm, following visitation. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
