Obituary of Amy C. Sheehy

Amy C. Sheehy died at home on December 14, 2012. After a long courageous fight with cancer, Amy has left us. Amy was an Intern Architect for many years until she found her love as a Natural Hoof Care Professional. She had her own business, " Nature's Trim ". Amy was a magnificent rider. Love of horses and riding was her life. She will be sadly missed. Amy leaves behind a loving husband James, who saw the sun rise and set in her eyes. She also leaves her father George O'Brien, mother Barbara Appolonia, stepfather Michael Appolonia and family, step daughter Sarah Sheehy, several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her special loves Pom and Ruby. A celebration of Amy's life will be held Saturday December 22, 2012 from 2pm to 6pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Many thanks to Rick, Wendy, Dina, Loretta, Mary, Aunt Laura, Lisa, Colleen, Gail and Bob for their support and love to Amy, and to all those who contributed to Amy's courageous fight.
