Obituary of Edwin Linville

Edwin Walter Linville passed away November 8, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Edwin was born November 29, 1946 in Rhinebeck, New York. The son of the late Millard Wright Linville and Vera Johnson Linville, Ed was a long time resident of Poughkeepsie and worked in the transportation field for many years with Central-Dubois Taxi in various capacities.. Always quick with a smile, Ed was a friend to many. Ed was an independent man who overcame many challenges and inspired all who knew him. He enjoyed NASCAR and the music of the 1950s. Survived by a sister, Millicent, of Asheville, NC and a brother, John, of Newmarket, NH, a private burial service for family will be held graveside in Tennessee at the family plot. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home.
