Obituary of Loretta DeCarlo

Loretta K DeCarlo 88 years old, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Loretta was born in Poughkeepsie, NY May 20, 1925 to the late Alfred and Marguerite Bartholf Ostrander. On September 10, 1950 Loretta married John A DeCarlo Sr. John predeceased Loretta in 1998. Loretta was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie, NY. Loretta loved cooking and spending time with her family. Loretta was predeceased in life by her son James A DeCarlo, her brothers, Albert Lawrence, Robert and Jim Ostrander, sisters Elizabeth, Rita, Ruth and Mary. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Way and her husband Raymond, her daughter, Christine James and her husband Robert, her son John A DeCarlo JR., grandchildren, Joseph Daley, Anthony Perry, Jennifer Tamney, Samantha Tamney, John DeCarlo III, Jean Orchano, and Lisa Arnold. She is also survived by many great grandchildren. Calling hours will take place Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 4-8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will follow in St, Peters Cemetery.
