Obituary of Anne M. Hanke

Anne M. Hanke, age 79, of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Lutheran Care Center of Poughkeepsie, NY. Anne was born December 18, 1936 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph J. and the late Amelia G. (Dworak) Kowalski. She married Robert B. Hanke on November 24, 1956 at St. Joseph's Church Poughkeepsie, NY he survives at home. She was employed by St Stanislaus School Pleasant Valley as a Teacher. Anne was a member of Saint Anne's Society, Catholic Daughters. She Also taught at Our Lady of Mount Carmel's Church and helps out in the Summer school program at the Church, Anne loved to Volunteer her time and help out where ever she could. Was Past President of St. Ann's Society She is survived by her husband: Robert B. Hanke of Poughkeepsie one son: Robert Joseph Hanke of Homestead, FL; grandson, Robert Joseph Hanke Jr. of Altomont, FL and Cousins, Jack and Jim Dworak. Predeceased by her Brother, Robert, Brother, Joseph J. Jr, and Sister, Barbara Kowalski Page. Calling hours will be held at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603 The funeral will be held on at St. Stanislaus Church, Main Street Pleasant Valley, Pleasant Valley, NY. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sister' s of the Resurrection in Castleton on Hudson. Our Lady of Mount Carmel's Church.
