Obituary of Anne Richer

Anne Richer, 94, passed away March 7, 2017 after two short hospital stays. A widow since 1967, she leaves behind her loyal friends, three adult children and a brother. The grandmother of three was retired from the Dutchess County Finance Department where she was Payroll Supervisor for many years. After retiring, Anne developed a passion for activism: being one of the charter members, and long time chairwoman, of the RPEA, Anne was also active in the Town of Poughkeepsie, as well as county, Republican Party until an accident two years ago created limitations. Services will be held 10:30am Thursday March 9, 2017 at The Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.
