Obituary of Roseann Watson

Roseann K. Watson 87 of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away at home on July 10th, 2023.

Roseann was born in Mount Vernon, New York on January 19th, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and the late Bertha Breisacher.

Roseann was a graduate of PACE University.

On March 3, 1957 at Christ Church Mount Vernon Roseann married Carroll Watson he survives at home.

Roseann has been a local resident for 25 years previously from Mount Vernon.

Roseann is a retired Nurse Administrator, she had worked at White Plains Hospital, Green Haven Correctional Facility and Coxsackie Correctional.

Roseann and Carroll had built a home from the ground up at Sleepy Hollow Lake in Athens, NY where they lived for almost 30 years and where their family made many memories.

Roseann was a member of the Poughquag Methodist Church. She loved to do water aerobics, square dancing, knitting, embroidery but the most important thing for Roseann was being with her grandchildren

and family.

Roseann is survived by her husband Carroll Watson, son Steven D. Watson and his partner Nancy Calogero of Clinton Corners, son Kenneth S. Watson of North Woodstock NH., daughter Julie Watson Friedlander of Cold Spring Harbor NY., son and daughter in-law Col. Timothy F. and Son-Yo Watson of Manchester NH., grandchildren Shelby Gregson(Brian), Travis Watson, Paige Palley (Ross), Eric Freidlander, Daniel Watson and Emily Watson.

Roseann was predeceased by her sister Meta Jelen.

Funeral Services will be held 10am on Tuesday July 25th 2023 at the Poughquag Methodist Church

Beekman New York with burial to follow at the Beekman Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.
