Obituary of Larry R Bernier

Lawrence R. “Larry” Bernier 58, of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away on August 3, 2023. He was born July 7th, 1964 in Mamaroneck, NY. From an early age, Larry had an adventurous spirit and spent his life finding new places to explore and enjoy.

He was a carpenter, project manager and scuba diving instructor. He lived in Vietnam for about 20 years. There he met his wife Quynh and they owned and operated the Dive, Dive, Dive scuba diving center in southeastern Vietnam. He also guided adventure cycle tours throughout southeast Asia.

He is survived by his beloved wife Quynh Nguyen, his mother Muriel Neilson, his sister Michele Bernier, his nephew and nieces: Evan, Jessica, and Alyssa and his long-time bicycle adventuring friend, Bruce.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday August 7, 2023 at The Timothy P Doyle Funeral Home at 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie NY,  from 4:00pm to 7:00pm
