Obituary of Quentin Lamb

Quentin W. Lamb passed away peacefully at Westchester Medical Center on August 27, 2023 after a brief illness.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Tracy-Ann and Mickie Lamb, one stepdaughter Debra Prete (Anthony) and a daughter in law Debbie Cantrell. As well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren And great-great grandchildren.

He is pre-deceased by his wife Judith Panella Lamb as well as his parents, Evelyn Welbaum and Dillard Rhea Moore Jr., as well as his daughter and son Dawn and Quentin James Lamb, stepsons Kenneth Cantrell III, David Cantrell and stepdaughters Elizabeth Cantrell Fregia, Karen Cantrell Garcia and one granddaughter Amy. 

Quentin was born on December 30, 1944 in Dade County FL. As a young adult he became an EMT and later in life along with his beloved wife drove 18 wheelers around the United States. He often shared stories of their time on the road and how much they saw of this beautiful country. 

He loved country music and playing his guitar with his family. Quentin was a jack of all trades. He loved fixing and building things. He was also the biggest jokester of the family. We will truly miss him.

We love you Dad/Grandpa. Until we meet again. Keep singing and playing your guitar up in Heaven. 

A Memorial Services will be held on September 30, 2023 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home located on 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie NY, 12603.
