Obituary of Gary Scarpelli

Gary Scarpelli, 71, of LaGrangeville, NY passed away on November 27, 2023 at the Grand at River Valley. Gary was born
to Mario and Jeanne Scarpelli on April 16, 1952 in the Bronx, NY.

Gary was a longtime Real Estate Agent for Prudential Serls/Berkshire Hathaway. A mentor to many young realtors and a fixture in the community.

Gary was a Dutchess County resident for over 40 years. A diehard Yankees fan who enjoyed bowling, golf, and fishing. His true joy was his family, he loved spending time with his wife and children.

Gary is survived by his wife Lynn, son and daughter in-law Peter and Kaitlin Scarpelli of Poughkeepsie, son and daughter
in-law Justin A. and Susan Scarpelli of Hyde Park, daughter and son in-law Sara L. and Manuel Portela of Poughkeepsie,
grandchildren Elle, Lia, Nicolas, Alex, Penelope, and Vitorino, nieces and nephews Joseph Genovese North Carolina, Ralph
Maresca New York, Gina Near Pleasant Valley, Jason Scarpelli Arizona and Laurin Scarpelli Arizona. 

Gary was predeceased by his brother Bobby Scarpelli and sister Diane Genovese.

To honor Gary there will be a “Celebration of Life” at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P. Doyle
