Obituary of Margaret Andrews

Margaret M. Andrews, 84, of Town of Poughkeepsie, died May 27, 2008 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. A lifelong local resident, she had been a telephone operator at Hudson River Psychiatric Center. Born Dec. 27, 1923 in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of Thomas Flanigan and Margaret Kennedy. She was married to Rodney Andrews, who predeceased her in August 2002. Survivors include son and daughterin-law, Joseph and Susan Morrill of Highland, NY; son, Thomas Andrews of Hyde Park; son, William Andrews of Poughkeepsie; grandchildren, Jason, Kelley, William, Thomas and Jennifer Andrews, Sarah Duncan and Nicholis Morrill; great grandchildren, Dalton Duncan, Justin, Cameron, Isabel, Thomas Robert and Thomas Daniel Andrews; and a stepbrother, Charles Mittelstaedt. She was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Flanigan and two brothers, Thomas Flanigan and Edward Flanigan. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 11 am at St. Peter's Cemetery.
