Obituary of Phillip Anspach

Phillip E. Anspach 71 of the City of Poughkeepsie died unexpectedly on Tuesday April 19, 2011. Born February 27, 1940 he was the son of the late Philip J. And the late Dorothy Decker Anspach. Phillip was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, he worked at Dutchess Community in the Security Office and Business Office. He was a life long resident of the area, Past Fire Commissioner of the Fairview Fire Department and was the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department's photographer and a member and Eucharistic Minister of St. Mary's Church. Phillip was a Life Member of the Fairview Fire Department, he Volunteered at St. Francis Hospital and was the Secretary of the City of Poughkeepsie Republican Party. On September 30, 1973 Phillip married Linda Ann Hock, she predeceased him September 29, 2008. Phillip is survived by his brother and sister in-law, John and Harriett Anspach of Poughkeepsie, his niece and her husband Valerie and Eric Calderon of Poughkeepsie and his nephew and his wife Stephen J. and Dawn Anspach of Poughkeepsie. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Phillip's name to the Fairview Fire Department Violet Ave. Poughkeepsie New York. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9am to 11am at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie New York 12603. A Funeral Mass will be held following Visitation at 11:30am at St. Mary's Church Poughkeepsie New York. Burial will be private and at the conveniance of the family.
