Obituary of Mary Coppinger

Mary Cathryn Coppinger, 88, formerly of 89 Greenwood Street, Lake Placid, NY, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at AMCUihlein where she has been a resident. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, on October 22, 1921, the daughter of Rudolph W. and Mary (McKeon) Lipinski. She was the wife of John N. Coppinger. Mr. Coppinger died May 2, 2000 in Saranac Lake, NY. Mrs. Coppinger was a member of the Ausable Forks American Legion, Post 504, Woman's Auxiliary. She is survived by her son, John W. Coppinger and his wife Rita of Lake Placid, NY; one brother, Rudolph Lipinski of Poughkeepsie, NY; and three grandchildren, Andrea Oles and her husband Clayton, Stephanie Webster and her husband Jim, and Adam Planty and his wife Maria. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held in Lake Placid, NY at the M.B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 24th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Rev. Patrick O'Reilly will officiate. Calling hours will also be held for family and friends at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY, on Thursday, March 25th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY on Friday, March 26th at 10:00 am.
