Obituary of Doris Dewitt

Doris A. Dewitt, 64, of Pleasant Valley, passed away on May 26, 2010 . She was a homemaker and a Secretary with IBM in Poughkeepsie. She was a member of St. Gregory's Orthodox Church, Wappingers Falls. Born on May 12, 1946 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Adolph and Ann Hruby Terry. She was a graduate of FDR High School and Dutchess Community College. On January 15, 1966 at St. Joseph's Church in Millbrook, she married Robert A. Dewitt. Mr. Dewitt survives at home in Pleasant Valley. She is also survived by a son, Richard A. Dewitt of Pleasant Valley. Funeral services and burial are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2678 South Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Arrangements under the direction of the Timothy P.
