Obituary of Marcella M. Fink

Marcella M. Fink, 80, of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the Victory Lake Nursing Home in Hyde Park. A 50 year local resident, Mrs. Fink had previously resided in Danbury, CT. She was employed as a Waitress for Nick Beni's Restaurant, retiring in 1970. After her retirement she owned the Past and Present Antique Shop. Born in Danbury CT on Nov. 6, 1928, she was the daughter of Manuel and Marcella Guidiotti Valencia. In 1953, in Connecticut, she married Joseph Fink. Mr. Fink predeceased his wife in 1988. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Frank Aiello of Hyde Park; daughter and son-in-law, Marialice and William Conklin of Pleasant Valley; a son, Michael Fink of Pleasant Valley; her grandchildren, Michelle Cifferri, Melissa Tesh, and Renee Conklin and four great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Joseph "Joey" Fink and her grandson, David Conklin. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie Funeral services will be held on Sat., May 23, 2009 at 10 a.m at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Hyde Park.
