Obituary of Jean Martin

Jean Martin, 78, of City of Poughkeepsie, died June 17, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital. A local resident for over 70 years, she had also lived in Youngstown, OH, Messina, NY and Pittsburgh, PA. She had been employed as a saleswoman in the Poughkeepsie Journal Classified Department. Born Nov. 16, 1929 in Vermont, she was the daughter of Leo and Ellen Sears Perrica. On Nov. 10, 1953 at St. Peter's Church, Poughkeepsie, she married James David Martin, Jr, who predeceased her. She is survived by her son, David Leo Martin of Poughkeepsie, NY.
