Audrey way born on December 28, 1928 to Chester Carlson and Emma Martin Carlson. Audrey was one of six girls and boasted that her father always wanted a girls baseball team. Marie and Evelyn are with her now in Heaven and Joyce, Greta, Alice and Shirley all survive. Audrey was married to George E. Audrey graduated from Arlington High School and touted herself as quite a Baton Twirling Majorette in the school band. She worked for many years at Caldor Corp. as their Sporting Good Dept. Manager and made many dear friends there. During her retirement she loved being at her home on Pecks Lake in Gloversville, NY and she cherished her friends there and the peacefulness of the loons on the lake. She was also an avid sports fan and especially loved the NY Yankees and Jorge Posada, and the NY Jets. One of her favorite things to do was watch Phil Mickelson beat Tiger Woods in golf. Audrey's family was her life and she was so proud to tell people she had 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews that she cherished always. Audrey will be missed in so many ways and apple pie will never be the same for any of us. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 5 to 8 pm at the Timothy P.
