Obituary of Yousef Nesheiwat

Yousef Nesheiwat, 48, a 15 year local resident, formerly of Salt, Jordan and Yonkers, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Westchester Medical Center. Mr. Nesheiwat was the owner of Zorona Restaurant in Poughkeepsie. He was a member of St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church. Born June 12, 1960 in Salt, Jordan he was the son of Mousa and Fahdeh Nesheiwat. On Aug. 7, 1983, in Salt, Jordan he married Maha Nesheiwat. Survivors include his Three sons, Mark, Joey, Brian and Daughter Noor Nesheiwat; six brothers, Agil, Emad, Amer, Eyad, Zeid and Jehad Nesheiwat; and four sisters, Amal, Sumer, Sahar and Reem Nesheiwat. Calling hours will be 4-8 p.m., Monday, June 23, at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, at St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church, with Father Hisham Nimri officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie.
