Obituary of Arthur Palmiotti

Arthur Michael Palmiotti passed away suddenly on November 10, 2011 while on a business trip away from home. He was 52 years old. Art was a graduate of Highland High School, SUNY New Paltz and held a Master’s degree from Marist College. Art, an IBM employee for 28 years, was a long time resident of Poughkeepsie and was active in his church and many community groups. Art is survived by his parents Angelo and Beulah Palmiotti, his wife, Jill Pardonner Palmiotti, a daughter Lydia, and two sons Alex and Evan, his brother Anthony Palmiotti and wife Kathleen, nephews Owen and Brian Palmiotti, brother Andrew and wife Diane and their children Nicholas, Valerie, Cora and Emily. Art was a loving husband for 23 years, and an incredibly caring father. His energetic personality, generous nature and humor will be missed and remembered by the many people whose lives he touched. Calling hours will take place from 4:00-8:00pm on Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Pleasant Valley, 1576 Main St., Pleasant Valley, NY 12569. Burial will be at the convenience of the Family.
