Obituary of Steven Quattrochi

Steven Quattrochi, 35, of Poughquag, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at home. Steven was born on August 11, 1975 in Yonkers, NY, the son of Charles & Jane Young Quattrochi who both survive at home. Steven was a graduate of Spackenkill High School. He received a BA in Criminal Justice from Johnson & Wales in Rhode Island where he was on the Dean's List. Steven was a construction worker for Metro North. Steven enjoyed baseball and loved children ? especially his nephew, Gianni whom he loved with all of his heart. Steven's family was very close and loved each other without judgement. He was especially close to his sister, Lisa, and they were as close as any brother & sister could possibly be. Steven would do anything for his family and friends and our hearts will never be the same without him. We will always love, miss and cherish our memories of Steven. Along with his parents, Steven is survived by his sister, Lisa Quattrochi of Poughkeepsie; his grandmother, Ursula Connor; his nephew, Gianni Franchesco and cousins Raymond Quattrochi of Manhattan & Candice Quattrochi of CA. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 4:00pm ? 8:00pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main St., Poughkeepsie where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY. Memorials in Steve's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memphis Tenn.
