Obituary of Stephanie Reyes

Stephanie Reyes, 18, of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at Westchester Medical Center. A lifelong area resident, Stephanie was a student at Roosevelt High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. Born in Poughkeepsie on Aug. 22, 1990, she was the daughter of Manuel and Oliva Cruz Reyes. Her parents survive at home in Poughkeepsie. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Carlos A. Reyes of Pleasant Valley and Daniel Reyes of Poughkeepsie; her paternal grandparents, Manuel and Maria Reyes of Mexico City; her paternal grandfather, Herminio Cruz of Oaxaca, Mexico, as well as several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Brijida Cruz. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Poughkeepsie. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie.
