Obituary of Robert Richart

Robert E. Richart, 82, of Poughkeepsie, NY died October 22, 2008 at home. He had been employed as a Department Head at A & P Markets and was also the Owner of Inter Locking Metal Weather Stripping, retiring in 1980. He had served in the United States Navy. Born in Indianapolis, IN on September 13, 1926, he was the son of Harold Richart and Lula May Davis. On September 29, 1972 at Arlington Reform Church, he married Helene E. Losee. Survivors include Daughter, Gail Theresa Hardy of Austin, TX; Son, Daniel Stephen Richart , Austin, TX; Daughter and Son in-law, Linda and Michael Knutson of Austin, TX; Son, Gary Thomas Richart, Mechanicsville, VA; Grandchildren, Deanna Ford and Jennifer Minton and Great Grandchildren Ben Ford, Meagan Ford and Lucy Q. Minton. He was predeceased by a sister, Eva Hamilton. Memorial donations to:American Cancer Society,Beechwood Ave., Poughkeepsie, New York or to Hospice Foundation, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, New York. Burial will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY at the convenience of the family.
