Dear Gary and Elaine, I did not sit down to read the paper until 9:00 last night. I was heartsick to realize I missed the chance to give you my sympathies in person. I work in kindergarten and can't arrange a way to leave with short notice so I can't be there this morning. Is there a way we could get together any time after 5:30 this evening? I could meet you any place convenient for you, or you could come to my house just off Hooker at 3 Kimball Road. My cell phone is 264-1259. Gary, I know losing a father brings a flood of memories and a certain ache like none other and my thoughts and condolences are with you and the family. Love, Evelyn (Is Noel with you? I'd like so much to see him.)

TO Cheryl and Gary, my heartfelt condolences. I have many fond memories of both of you and your mom and dad. As I was speaking with my sister, Judy, moments ago, I told her about a time when I was in Cub Scouts, which met in the basement of St Paul's church. Your father was a scout den master and often told me that I had the hands of a boxer. I never forgot those conversations nor the ones at the flower shop. Well, I never became a boxer, but I will never forget your dad. Regards, Dave Lovelace
