Obituary of Mary Studer

Mary Anne Studer died peacefully at Vassar Hospital after a brief illness. A long time resident of Poughkeepsie, Mary was born in Cambridge, MA. the daughter of the late Michael MacDonnell and Delia Mary Coffey. Prior to her marriage of 55 years to her beloved husband Joseph Studer, who died September 18, 2010, she was employed at Investors Syndicate. She is survived by her sister Eileen MacDonnell, her sister-in-law, Helen Detmer, brothers and sisters-in-law John and Gloria Studer and Francis and Marilyn Studer and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:00am in the Chapel at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Mass. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the loving care and support to the Studer, Detmer, and VonGonter families. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Peter's School, Violet Ave. & E.
