Obituary of Beverly Tallmadge

Beverly J. Tallmadge, 74 of Milan, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Thompson House in Rhinebeck. A three year resident of Milan, she had previously resided in Poughkeepsie and was a Housekeeper at the Hudson River State Hospital. Born in Rhinebeck on Aug. 25, 1934, she was the daughter of George and Mildred Shook Asher. In 1966 she married Earl Tallmadge in Rhinebeck, he predeceased his wife on 2002. She is survived by a daughter, Renee Tallmadge of Milan; sons, Timothy Saulpaugh of Texas and Thomas Saulpaugh of Coxsackie; stepchildren, Shirley Pfleider of Massachusetts and Michael Sherman of Red Hook; sisters, Audrey Asher of Poughkeepsie and Yvonne Hosier of Texas and a brother, Vincent Asher of Hyde Park. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 5,2009 from 8pm to 9 pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.
