Obituary of Norma Williams

Norma Jean Williams, 88, a resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie, went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2010 at the Lutheran Care Center. She was a local resident for most of her life. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, the daughter of William Paschal and Harriet Minkler. She was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School. She married Harold F. Williams in Poughkeepsie, NY in 1940. Her husband predeceased her in 1995. She is survived by: Harold F. and Tingzhi Williams, Jr. - son and daughter in-law, of California, Diane Leone & Lawrence Zoccheo - daughter & husband, of Highland, NY, grandchildren, Albert & Mona Leone, Alison & Robert Lawrey, and Scott, Christopher, Caroline and Jack Williams, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Bertha Pells, John Paschal, Mary Coliveccio, Dorothy Pizano & William Paschal. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 1pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery, Hyde Park, NY.
