Obituary of Mildred Gapinski

Mildred Isabelle Gapinski, AKA "Betty Boop "passed away Monday January 30, 2012 at the age of 86. The youngest of 9 children, Mildred was born September 20, 1925 in Illinois to Stewart and Clara Lillie. Mildred worked as a riveter building airplanes during WWII and was very proud of her tenure as a "Rosie the Riveter". Mildred loved watching classic movies, traveling and was an avid collector of Betty Boop memorabilia. Mildred is survived by two children; Raymond Gapinski of Livingston, NY and Dennis Gapinski of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by two granddaughters Rebecca Gapinski and Tracey Cousar of Pleasant Valley, NY and four great grandchildren. Local Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P.
